In my opinion, the greatest gremlin of the education system is that we are not equipping them with skills that will help them become future-ready, and if we are, they are not suited to the Indian student.
An endeavor by a long-time friend and colleague Aman Baldia — Gyansthan — is something that fills a lacuna. I had the pleasure of working with him at the youth-run non-profit that I founded called I.I.M.U.N. and I have seen first hand vouch for his passion for empowering students.
What I am most delighted by is that not only is this an agglomeration of talented individuals who are at the height of their field coming together to educate, but also the interest they have taken to ensure that this is something catering to an Indian student and not just borrowed from the West.
Also, the deep involvement of the academy heads and the desire to teach through the time-tested brick-and-mortar system shows the values of those involved. I am certain you will enjoy the quality that the trainers bring but so also the youthful energy of this organisation. I love mentoring them and look forward to guiding them in my honorary capacity with counsel that at times is solicited and otherwise just given out of love and adulation.
